Implant Post-Operative Care
After your implant post-operative care appointment, you should take the following steps to ensure a successful recovery:

1. Avoid eating hard or chewy foods for a few days, as these may cause discomfort.
2. Brush and floss gently around the implant site.
3. Take any medications prescribed by your dentist.
4. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol for at least 48 hours after the procedure.
5. Avoid touching or manipulating the implant site.
6. Visit your dentist for regular check-ups to ensure the implant is healing properly.

Extraction Post-Operative Care
Following an extraction, it is important to follow your dentist's post-operative instructions for proper care and healing. Here is a list of things to do:

1. Avoid rinsing, spitting, or touching the area of the extraction for 24 hours.
2. Apply an ice pack to the area for 10-15 minutes every hour for the first 24 hours.
3. Take any medications prescribed by your dentist as directed.
4. Eat soft foods and chew on the opposite side of your mouth.
